Starbucks In Making: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Hello,
It's been a while since I'd done a 'Starbucks In Making' post, and since Autumn is right around the corner I decided I'd do a Pumpkin Spice Latte!

Let's Start Making!

You Will Need:
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Spoon
  • Saucepan
  • Stove
  • Cup

  • Step One: Start by mixing ONE cup of sugar and ONE cup of water into a saucepan, you're basically just making syrup!

Step Two: Bring the sugar water to a low boil and then reduce the heat.

Step Three: Stir in TWO tablespoons of pumpkin puree and TWO teaspoon of pumpkin spices together. Keep the syrup to a simmer and occasionally stir.

Step Four: Bring the saucepan off the heat and let the syrup cool for 15 minutes.

    DONE! It smells SOOO divine!

      2. I've never had a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, but I thought there would be coffee in it? No? Good for me, actually, because too much caffeine is NOT good. I'm pinning this RIGHT NOW!

    7. YOU ROCK!! I am totally going to pin and try this. At first I was like "where is this milk!?" but then I realized this was just for the syrup lol. When I worked at Starbucks I made up something called Pumpkin Pie Chai. It seriously tastes like a liquid pumpkin pie. I do an iced venti, 3 pump pumpkin spice, 3 pump chai, and breve (half and half) and sometimes one pump of cinnamon. OMG TO DIE FOR!! I have some Tazo Chai concentrate in the fridge, so this recipe plus that = pumpkie pie chai at home! YAY!

If you have time you should totally link this up at our Blog Strut! We would love to have you there!

    16. This sounds great but I would definitely need the added addition of the espresso. The tarditional ones are way too sweet without it.

      1. Thanks! I wanted to keep this slightly healthier so I didn't add the espresso, but if you wanted to you definitely could!
